Feldfern Sprecher 33 WH (F33 field telephone WH)

The roughly, 22cm tall, 28cm wide, 9cm thick, molded, mottled brown bakelite construction telephone housing case has a fold back top lid with a screwed on, magnetic sheet metal, horizontal bar hinge to the reverse and a screwed on, magnetic sheet metal, panel with an inset pressure closure clip to the obverse. The top edge of the case has two small panels rivetted in place with a white cardboard writing panel to the left and a white bakelite panel with black printed phonetic and pronunciation code to the right. The lower obverse body of the case has a small, rivetted on, tear drop shaped, swivel, magnetic sheet metal dust cover which protects two input jack plugs for use with an additional field phone or a central switchboard. Both the lower obverse and reverse body of the case have a small, screwed on, vertically oval, magnetic sheet metal grill with six small vertical cut-out slashes to enhance the audible ringing of the telephone. One end of the case has an additional small, rivetted on, tear drop shaped, swivel, magnetic sheet metal dust cover which protects the induction magneto crank handle connection. Each end of the case also has a raised, magnetic sheet metal, opened bottom, attachment socket for the carrying strap. The interior of the top lid has the printed circuit schematic diagrams and a central, magnetic sheet metal, pressure leaf spring panel to secure the telephone handset in place. The interior bottom of the case has a bakelite and magnetic sheet metal construction battery compartment with dual brass screw connection terminals, a recessed compartment for the handset wiring, four input jacks for the handset wiring with the corresponding bakelite plug, two metal alloy screw connection terminals, a small recess for the induction magneto crank handle and a recess for the handsets mouthpiece.
