Nylon Medical Instrument & Supply Set Case No. 8 (1979)

The nylon Medical Instrument and Supply Set case No. 8 was first produced in 1969 as a replacement for the cotton Jungle First Aid Kit pouch. It was specifically designed to accommodate a plastic box that contained the components of the Individual First Aid Kit. The case was closed by two lift-the-dot fasteners and was attached to the belt via a pair of slide keepers. It was also equipped with a Velcro loop for attaching it to a parachute harness.
