The Field Pack (Butt Pack) is made of heavy OD canvas. On the top front flap is a canvas web carrying handle, T is a clear plastic piece which you can put your identification inside. T 2 buckles for clouser, Also US is stamped on the front. Also on one side t are eyelets for attaching other pouches, bayonets, etc. On the other side t is a sewn on canvas webbing with 2 slots for attaching additional pouches or hanging other items on for easy access. On the bottom in the front t are 2 canvas straps and 2 buckles. The straps are used for securing the top flap by attaching them to the 2 top flap buckles. On the back t are 2 belt clips for attaching to a pistol belt, etc., T are also 2 canvas straps which attach to the buckles on the bottom front of the canvas butt pack for holding pounchos, etc. T are also 2 eyelets on the top for attaching the canvas butt pack to a harness or carrying strap. On the inside t is a rubber liner which can be pulled out and rolled up to help keep contents dry. .
