Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is a nice EM/NCO's example. The cap is not visible maker or size marked, the size is approximately '56'. The Visor cap is piped in the white 'Truppenfarbe' (branch-colour) as intended for 'Infantry' personnel. The cap is complete with it's original aluminum cocarde and cap-eagle. The cap is having a blackened patent leather chinstrap. The leather sweatband is in good used condition. .
