A special holster pattern introduced with the P'37 Equipment as the "Pistol Case R.A.C.", for use by Royal Armoured Corps personnel.It has six cartridge loops and external cleaning rod slot. Also designed to accommodate the .38 caliber revolvers, it hung well below the waistbelt and was kept snug to the leg by a strap; this configuration was intended to minimize interference in going through armoured vehicle hatches., it was replaced by the shortened and simplified pattern .
