The Matchless Fire Set is a MoD and NATO-approved military firelighting kit consisting of a metal tin containing hexamine blocks, compressed cotton wool and a ranger fire-lighting flint. This kit has the advantage of a much longer storage life than a box of standard matches. All components are completely sealed from moisture. 6 year shelf life.
