In 1958 a new helmet was designed and put into production this was the M60 (Model FJ58) my example has the first pattern liner....these were the BW's first proper steel helmet (notice the M31 style liner) being made from Swedish steel that was a lot tougher than the previous steel of the previous "zweiteilige helmet" it dented just by dropping it on the floor ! On the M60 the liner is held in by four attachment points
