Romania - AKM Bayonet and Scabbard

Knife bayonet for use with the 7.62 mm. Pistol Mitralieră model 1963 (PA md. 63) assault rifle, variant of the Kalashnikov AKM. A copy of the Russian 6X3 bayonet with a reddish-brown plastic grip. Black steel Type I scabbard with a tan or gray rubber insulator. Brown leather retention strap. The Romanian scabbard has a wire loop for attaching the customary clip-on belt hanger, however, Romania typically used a leather or nylon frog that wraps around the insulator.
