The straight legged trousers were the standard issue Luftwaffe trousers, replaced in 1943 by the 'Keilhose' combat field trousers, the straight legged trousers remained in production and use for the duration of the war. The trousers are made of the standard Luftwaffe blue-grey wool. The trousers have two, diagonally angled, front pockets and a small watch pocket. A strap and metal buckle is sewn on the back for tightening. The trousers are nicely size but no maker marked. This would make a nice match with a combat worn jacket and would make a great display. Hard to find original pair of Luftwaffe straight legged trousers!
