M37 pattern, large, tan/khaki, webbed canvas haversack with a single top fold-over flap. The fold-over flap has two extended tabs, with brass ends, which mate with brass sliding buckles attached to shorter tabs on the lower front of the bag. Wide, outwardly-angled tabs with brass ends are to either side of the reverse top. Sewn to the bottom are outward angled are short tabs with brass sliding buckles to their ends. To the interior, to each side of the large, single-pocket interior are 8cm extensions (tabs), each with a brass grommet to protect the contents or keep them in place .
