The 4 x 5 inch hardcover songbook with 102 pages was published by the churchly leadership of the Kriegsmarine for the divine service aboard in wartimes. It contains very patriotic quotes by famous Germans and some of the pages are very artfully designed. It was published 1940 by Gerhard Stalling publishing house in Oldenburg, Germany.
