The Kriegsmarine belt buckle was officially introduced on 4 August 1936, to replace the previously worn 'Reichsmarine' buckle. The Kriegsmarine buckle was identical in design to the Army EM/NCO’s belt buckle, but with gilt colored finish. Nice gilt finished alu buckle, the buckle is unmarked The buckle shows normal wear and scratching and still retains most of it's golden finish. Hard to find original Kriegsmarine buckle in good used condition!
