WWI US Army M1917 “Transitional” Trench Shoes

WWI US Army M1917 “Transitional” Trench Shoes with three rows of stitching to reinforce the heel as opposed to the two rows which commonly broke in the early M1917 shoes. There are three layers of leather which make up the sole, another improvement over the M1917, but this pair of shoes are missing the M1918 steel toe plate. Marked size 9.5. In overall good condition with some hobnails missing on both shoes top on both boots have repairs to leather .
