Based on the design for the British paratrooper helmet, the MK II dispatch rider's helmet was worn by British army and military police. Although similar to the paratroop helmet, it differed in that it has a leather neck flap that would fit over the ears. It was also mounted to the helmet using 4 as opposed to 3 rivets of the airborne model.
