Brassard Civil Defence / NBS

The armband is in good in condition and was worn by the N.B.S. (Nederlandse Binnenlandse Strijdkrachten) during the liberation of the Netherlands. It is a printed type with the text CD which originally stands for Civil Defense. Originally they were used in the England by the Civil Defense during the liberation of the Netherlands they were handed out to the N.B.S. The wearer of this armband was allowed to carry a fire arm.
