India - Bayonet Mk III with scabbard R.F.I.

Lee Enfield (SMLE) No1 Mk.III. rifle. Excellent + blued plain blade marked Crown, G.R.I., Mk II, 10 '43, R.F.I. (=Rifle Factory Ishapore, 7/41) on the ricasso and three Indian inspection marking: IS244, IS125 and IS137 on reverse side. False edge. Squared pommel with oil hole and crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 16.5 mm. Excellent wooden grips secured with screwbolts. Correct unaltered M 1907 black leather scabbard. All stitches intact and no dents to the fittings. Most of these long scabbards were later shortened.
