Gasplane Tasche (Gascape Pouch)

Wehrmacht (Heer) gascape pouch (Gasplane Tasche). The shoulder sling of the gas mask was put through two loops at the rear of the pouch, and the pouch was worn on the chest. This method proved not to be very practical. During the war a frequent way of wear was to fasten the pouch around the gas mask canister. The pouch is CQS 11-40 marked and dated. Nice original pouch in good condition!
