The KM 87 bayonet was manufactured in the former GDR in small numbers (reportedly around 2000 pieces) and is probably intended for airborne troops. It is designed as a multi-purpose for survival in the wild. It has an anatomically shaped hilt, a metal head with a push that can be unscrewed, hides a cavity in which there is a cylindrical case containing the necessary survival equipment: 3 windproof matches, 2 x sewing needle, polyester surgical fiber, 2 x small and 2 x larger fish hooks. The saw, which is on most bayonets on AK, is made as a double row for this bayonet, which is an advantage over other bayonets. On the blade there is a protractor on one side, and on the other there is a short centimeter gauge. There is a rectangular hole in the blade into which we can put the pin of the lower part of the vagina. The bayonet in this mount can be used as wire shears, even under electric voltage. The scabbard of the bayonet is plastic with a textile hanging Velcro belt, which also hides a signal mirror made of polished sheet metal.
