The Cross of the Home Army was originally a commemorative plaque introduced on August 1, 1966 by General Tadeusz Bora-Komorowski to commemorate the efforts of Polish Underground soldiers from 1939-1945. He was given to the soldiers of the Home Army and organized before it ( Polish Victory Service , Armed Struggle Union ). The first Cross of the Home Army was posthumously awarded to General Stefan Rowecki "Grot" . Cross of the Home Army was broadcast in London . He was not admitted to the PRL Medal of Honor System (possession of this badge was forbidden by the President of the Main Board of the Fighters for Freedom and Democracy , Mieczysław Moczara [1] ). Only since 1992 has it been recognized as a Polish military decoration awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland . Its broadcasting was deemed completed on May 8, 1999. The Cross of the Home Army is worn in order after current state decorations .
