Cadet shako St. Johns Northwestern Military Academy

This shako is in very good condition and has its original pompom. The stamped brass front insignia shows the St Johns Northwestern crest / coat of arms and the university motto “Laborare, Ludere, Orare”.

The front of the brass decorative chinstrap includes a stylized eagle. Side buttons with infantry crossed rifle. 2 brass colored vents on side of the hat. The visor is made of black lacquered plastic with green lining. The chinstrap is hook to the back of the hat and shows a 100% of its original lacquered finish. There are a few nicks on the plastic visor and hat top due to its age.
