Designed to provide secure wire communications on the front lines, this sturdy field telephone has an od painted steel outer box measuring 10" X 4 1/2" X 5 1/2" (25.4 X 11.5 X 14.0 cm) with a hand cranked magneto generator to "ring up" the other party, instructions on the inner lid and connectors for the wire with a heavy sound powered handset
