these were the standard 6x30 prismatic binocular for the British Army in World War II.
Marked - Bino Prism No2 MKIII X6 No 228108 on left had side. (the serial number).
Unmarked - on right hand side.
Eyepieces are independently adjustable. The reticule is on the right side.
