The backpack is in overall very nice condition showing slight wear. It still retains all its straps and is complete including metal hardware. The back pack is an Army issued piece manufactured by « CARTER BROS., INC. / 1943 » and stamped on the front flap with « U.S. » in black ink
This type was issued and used by the US Army in the European Theater. The back pack is constructed from a heavy camouflage canvas material. Zipper is present and original to the bag. It functions very well
