It looks somewhat like the Combat Infantry Badge, with the same shape, size and blue enamel, but has a human skull with a spear piercing an eye hole and the legend "2 BN 38 INF" below. About 3 1/8" wide, , some damaged rich enamel work and aJapan-made. Early 1950's. the new posts on the back are bent and resoldered
