Hoheitsabzeichen WH/Heer M44 (WH/Heer M44 Type Breast-eagle)

The eagle is executed in the neat so-called BeVo weave style in grey thread on a field-grey linnen background, it is showig the interwoven 'BeVo-Wuppertal' marking. This is the final pattern machine woven breast eagle and was utilized on a variety of combat clothing including the M44 field blouse and assault gun wrap-around tunics. The eagle is in mint, unissued condition.
