Postcard The Hill 304 1918

In Verdun, Cote 304 was on the western bank of Meuse and the fighting there and Mort-Homme indeed took place in March-May time. During the rest of the year 1916 the French took back the territories lost on the eastern bank (like Fort Douamont), the lost territories on the western back were attacked in August 1917.
