The 32 3/4 inch blade is in good condition, the etching still clear, firm in the hilt, but with plenty of patina. The brass gothic hilt has lost most of its gilt but is in very good condition. The fishskin grip also very good, plus the twisted grip wire binding in good order too. Original white leather sword knot a little grubby, but sound. The steel scabbard has some patina but is overall good.
