Chequered black plastic scales scales secured by five small rivets. Underside of hilt has two deep recesses to allow stowage of two knife blades. A long broad and very gently curved tapered marlinspike is stowed on the back of the hilt, pivoting at opposite end from blades. Shackle also fitted at this end.
